With automatic target location, real-time architecture and the ability to instantly re-establish an interrupted beam, it is the fast, accurate and user-friendly way to measure to reflectors, probe and scanners (AT960 only). Features and functionality except for the variozoom 6DoF compatibility, making it the ideal solution for high-speed measurements in volumes of up to 160 m (Ø). AT960, avaiable as AT960-SR, MR, LR, and XR models, can take 3D measurements in a respective range (Ø) of 12m, 40m, 160m, 160m and a 6DoF measurement range (Ø) of 10m, 20m, 40m, 60m.

The Leica Absolute Tracker AT960 is a robust, all-in-one laser tracker that fits in a single flight case. Offering high-speed dynamic measurement as standard, it is a complete solution for six degrees of freedom (6DoF) probing, scanning and automated inspection as well as reflector measurement.

The AT960 laser tracker can be transported easily, unpacked quickly and powered up in minutes to deliver high-performance measurement almost anywhere. Dynamic features and flexible functionality give users absolute speed, accuracy and portability.

Featuring wireless communication and a battery operation option, the integrated-technology design of the AT960 makes lengthy setup a thing of the past. The Leica Absolute Interferometer (AIFM) enables accurate high-speed measurement to a moving target while the innovative PowerLock function ensures an interrupted beam is instantly re-established without user intervention, reducing operator workload and training requirements. Intuitive touch-screen controls minimise the potential for user error, saving time, effort and money. Check and compensation architecture means basic adjustments can be made in the field, while robust design guarantees on-specification operations with minimal calibration and servicing.

When combined with the Real-Time Feature Pack and Leica T-Mac, the AT960 evolves into a laser tracker solution that meets the deterministic measurement data-delivery requirements of high-end automated installations. Built on the industry-proven EtherCAT protocol, it enables the delivery of 6DoF measurement data with accurate timestamps at an output rate of up to 1000 Hertz. Known as 7DoF measurement data, this enables real-time machine control within even highly-dynamic robotic setups.

With a measurement volume of up to 160 metres in diameter, the AT960 is compatible with Leica T-Probe, Leica T-Mac and the range of Absolute Scanners. This flexibility allows it to cater to a wide variety of inspection applications – from quality lab to in-line; from in the factory to in the field – ensuring users have the right tool for any measurement challenge.

• Built-in environmental sensor
  The environmental unit integrated into the tracker unit monitors environmental conditions such as temperature, air pressure and humidity to guarantee that measurements are accurate with no influence from external factors and corrections.

  A Leica proprietary developed range finder unit that uses an absolute range finder and interferometer at all times. AIFM has dynamic performance and can lock on to a target without fixing it in one place.
• Power lock system
  The Leica Absolute Tracker AT930/960 system is equipped with a power lock on system that enables the laser tracker to automatically find and lock onto a moving target. This eliminates the troubling task of locking onto the target again, which took a lot of time in the past, and can significantly improve efficiency for the work time because there is no need to keep the target still even if the laser beam is blocked, and the laser beam locks onto the target automatically without requiring a user to operate it.

  The measuring sensor unit and the controller can be used under harsh conditions because of the fully sealed design that received IP54 certification. The Leica Absolute Tracker AT930/960 system can be used outdoors without any problems, even in rain.

Reflector measurement at 120 m, T-Probe, T-Scan and T-Mac measurement at 50 m are within the guaranteed accuracy.
Only reflectors can be used for the AT930.
